ubuntu에서 gem install rmagick 실행시 실패할 경우 해결방법

아래와 같은 에러를 내면서 “gem install rmagick”이 실패할 경우, 아래의 “checking for wand/MagickWand.h”를 주의깊게 보자. magickwand 라이브러리가 설치되어 있지 않기 때문에 발생하는 것이다.

해결방법

libmagickwand-dev를 설치해 줌으로써 해결이 된다. 아래의 명령을 실행시켜보도록 하자.

$ sudo apt-get install libmagickwand-dev
$ gem install rmagick

문제없이 잘 설치 될 것이다.
